LCRA is proposing a presentation at UTC National 2026 to describe our journey from disjointed and non-existent task tracking tools to a single, streamlined platform.
Several years ago, LCRA selected HighGear as its platform vendor of choice to implement. This started in the Engineering group within Telecom for pilot testing and has since expanded to other groups, including Architecture, Planning, Supply Chain, and Operations.
Some of the key success stories in our implementation include submitting project construction documents digitally, automated email notifications, non-project technical requests, trouble tickets, and material submittals. It also streamlined our tangible handoffs among Planning, Engineering, and Operations to improve portfolio-level planning and prioritize bottlenecks.
LCRA would present its roadmap for implementation with HighGear technical personnel, explain how tools like this make it possible to work in an increasingly hectic environment, and show how others may benefit from similar strategies.
