Maynard “Matt” Schnell, Part-Time Telecommunications Manager Consultant at Nebraska Public Power District. I have worked in the Telecom industry for 48 years in management, engineering, and field operations/maintenance. I am past chairman of the UTC, past chair of the Technical Division and past chair of UTC Region 6. I am past chair of the Nebraska School Board Association. I am married (wife Deb) and have one daughter (Amanda). I served in the U.S. Navy aboard nuclear submarines for 6 years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in business and master’s degree in administration from Doane College. I have received the Connie Durcsak Award, the Meehan Award, and the Dondanville Award from UTC. I have presentation on numerous occasions at UTC National and Regional Conferences on various Telecommunication topics.
