Nolan Jones brings 14 years of diverse experience across Southern Company, having served in roles at Southern Company Services, Alabama Power, and Georgia Power. His background spans Substation Design, Transmission Line Design, Connectivity & Innovation, Transmission Line Construction, Transmission Project Management, Grid Investment, and PD‑Connectivity.
In his current role leading PD‑Connectivity, Nolan oversees the engineering, planning, and strategic direction of Southern Company’s fiber deployment programs across Alabama Power, Mississippi Power, and Georgia Power. His work focuses on expanding and modernizing the company’s fiber infrastructure to support grid modernization, operational telecommunications, and emerging enterprise connectivity needs.
