Mr. Johnson is a communications engineer with 12 years of experience in designing and evaluating conventional and trunked public safety radio systems, P25 radio systems, and microwave/fiber connectivity systems. He offers clients both vendor and consultant perspectives from over 25 projects at all levels of government, giving him a unique knowledge of how radio systems are procured and implemented. Mr. Johnson has an extensive background in customer service and can connect with public safety personnel, as he has experience in the field as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Mr. Johnson brings a unique and diverse perspective in different aspects of public safety communications and is well versed in presenting both technical and nontechnical subject matter. Mr. Johnson has extensive speaker experience in participating at IWCE, APCO, and NENA conferences as well as leading presentations for clients, Board of Supervisors and Board of Commissioners.
