Davy Haegdorens is a senior Solution Architect with over 20 years of experience in the telecommunication sector. He works for Belden Solutions NV , where he plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing next-generation telecommunication solutions that drive innovation and operational excellence across industries. His journey into the world of technology began with a strong academic foundation at Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen, where he graduated in Applied Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering in 2005.

He joined Belden Solutions NV as a Business Development Manager, where he was responsible for all Power Transmission and Distribution presales activities in the APAC region. His role involved organizing workshops, identifying early-stage opportunities, and guiding customers through architectural design processes. Davy’s ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner made him a trusted advisor to clients. He regularly conducted product and feature demonstrations, authored white papers, contributed to CIGRE workgroups and represented Belden at industry congresses and roadshows. His contributions to the CIGRE D2 study committee and roadmap development showcased his strategic thinking and commitment to innovation.

Davy now leads strategic development initiatives, focusing on transport systems and advanced technology solutions. His work involves designing scalable, secure, and future-proof architectures that support Belden’s mission to deliver high-performance networking and connectivity solutions.
Throughout his career, Davy has consistently demonstrated a passion for advancing the telecommunications industry. His involvement in industry events, white paper publications, and study committees reflects his dedication to thought leadership and knowledge sharing. He actively engages with peers and stakeholders to explore emerging trends, such as utility transformation, substation communications modernization, and legacy system management.
