Low Earth Orbit satellite connectivity is moving quickly from a limited, emergency-use only stop gap to an integral part in the utility connectivity toolbox. Utility practitioners and technology partners will provide a short overview of LEO technology and describe how utilities can increase their operational capabilities, boost data collection and analysis while expanding reach, usability and speed. All while reducing existing cost structures and maintenance costs. A review of use cases will provide important guidance on how to argue successfully for the implementation of utility-specific needs and requirements.
